Annabella Matute – Castro
Annabella is a founding consulting partner with over twenty years of experience in civil and common law jurisdictions, with particular remit in commercial law, including ADR, construction law and international development. She holds a master’s degree in Law in Development from the University of Warwick, England, after being awarded the Chevening Scholarship. She is a lawyer with full rights of audience before the Supreme Court of Peru and with studies under the English Legal System at London Metropolitan University and BPP School of Law, England. Annabella regularly conducts country political and legal research, with special focus in the USA and Latin America in the infrastructure/construction and energy sectors, frequently supporting teams of top profile barristers and solicitors in litigation, arbitration, adjudication and other alternative dispute resolution methods, both in the UK and internationally. In addition to that, she also has a robust experience in the charity sector, after having worked for many years overseas and in the UK in international development and human rights. Annabella is fully fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. She brings a wealth of competitive local knowledge, languages and a cross-cultural approach to facilitate commercial transactions in complex multicultural and global contexts.
